Paulina del Paso

Paulina del Paso is a filmmaker and visual artist who has made fictional short films, experimental videos, documentaries, photographic series, and installations. She holds a degree in filmmaking from the Cinematographic Training Center, and her short films have been screened at various local and international festivals. Her debut documentary La guerrera won the Gucci Ambulante scholarship and best documentary at the 2011 Zanate documentary film Festival.

Paulina has directed more than eight documentaries for television and participated in several group exhibits. As a member of the National System of Artistic Creators, she developed the project Tv-Frenia which was recently presented in the form of a quadraphonic symphony video at the Alameda Art Laboratory.

She is currently preparing her first fictional feature- length film A flor de piel, based on a screenplay co-written with filmmaker Elisa Miller.
