Synopsis
The monument to the Mexican Revolution in Mexico City has four courtyards.
They are several meters below the level of the City. They are the entrance to hell. He who is encouraged to cross them “must abandon all hope”.
In one of them lives the Guzmán family, five generations of suffering addictions.
In a tribal way they share the space with other camps in the same patio and defend themselves from members of the other patios as well as from strangers.
This family represents the terrible paradox of a ruthless and rapacious State and of a Homeland that forgot its own children.
